Company History

Lectro Components, Inc. was founded in 1974 and as the business developed and grew, Lectro relocated a number of times during its early years. On February 1, 1985, the company moved to 154 Easy Street in Carol Stream, a new building specifically designed for distribution and sales. The company still resides there today.  Lectro Components is a well established and respected member of the electronics distribution industry, specializing in terminal blocks, relays, timers, connectors and controls. Lectro also developed Core Components, its own line of products for the building automation industry. The Core branded line includes transformers, multi-voltage relay modules and power supplies.  Lectro has a progressive team of employees, trained to assist you with your application needs for price and delivery.  The company's commitment to quality, customer/supplier relationships and reputation will enable it to meet the challenges of the years to come in a vastly changing industry.

Quality Assurance Program

Lectro has established a proactive system of procedures that guarantees our responsibility to the customer is met and exceeded. The following highlights the main aspects of this program: 

Calibration Lectro Components, Inc. examines and controls all Measurement and Test equipment. Lectro enlists qualified external calibration facilities and maintains certified records which are traceable to NIST standards.  Non-Conforming Materials Lectro Components, Inc. has concise procedures in place for segregating and disposing of non-conforming material. Incoming inspection, quarantine, corrective action, final inspection and maintained records support our proactive approach to non-conforming issues.  Loss Prevention / Product Delivery All products are packaged with high quality materials designed to prevent deterioration, corrosion, and damage during shipping. A FIFO inventory usage system is utilized, making date code identification simple. Internal Customer Care Notices are required in every situation of a customer complaint, a detailed investigation into the problem follows and a solution is implemented. Problems and solutions are recorded and reviewed to ensure customer satisfaction and quality assurance compliance.  Responsibility A dedicated team of employees and managers performs the aspects of the Quality Assurance Program and conducts random audits of the process with various departments. Training employees is an essential part of this program to maintain consistent & efficient processes and procedures.
