Plastic Nameplate labels are less costly than plastic or metal engraved plates, saving material costs. Plastic Nameplate labels are made of a UL94VO rated polycarbonate that can be mounted mechanically or using an adhesive backing. HellermannTyton thermal transfer or laser labels can be printed and applied to the inserts and covered with a clear plastic cover to protect printed text.

- The transparent covers are designed to snap easily into the legend base after the printed legend insert has been installed.
- The clear cover further serves to protect the printed legend for long term and durable identification of control panels, panel buttons and any industrial equipment.
